About Us
The Owners, Managers and Staff of Grove Guest House, (GGH), offer you a warm and friendly welcome. Providing first class guest rooms for weary travellers.  The potted history of GGH as we understand, is that the bungalow was built in the 1930’s very close to the Town centre.  Set in an attractive tree lined and prestigious residential area of Wrexham.Previoulsy it  was occupied by a local vicar and later became a doctor’s surgery. In approx. 1983  GGH accomodation and services were provided initially from the bungalow building. In 1986 the then owner had the foresight to build the house at the rear of the bungalow as additional accommodation.

We moved to Wrexham in 2003 with the sole purpose of realising our long held dreams to work in the hospitality sector. Wrexham turned out to be a very good move for our new business venture as the Town is aiming to gain city status and the forecasted population growth is gaining momentum.  Services to support this growth are visible and have provided Wrexham with a new shopping precinct, improved rail transport links and Newi College upgraded to a university status, ‘GLYNDWR University’. All this, alongside many existing facilities for the Sports and Arts agenda in making Wrexham an ideal town for investment for small and large businesses alike.

During our time here in Wrexham we have been fully re-furbished rooms and ALL rooms are fitted with new en-suite facilities.  To achieve this we have worked closely with local, very professional tradesmen to upgrade the gas, electric and water utilities and the building of another, 8 new en-suite facilities.

The Car Park has been re-surfaced to increase the number of parking spaces and improve the ground area to level out the contours and improve the drainage. We have re-vamped the kitchen from a very tired domestic layout to a modern stainless steel commercial kitchen that is fit for purpose.

Our conservatory was completed in September 2011 and it  has doubled the size of our Dining Room and offers a delightful setting to enjoy breakfast.  We have gone to some lengths to assure the preservation of a very beautiful Beech Tree that has a Tree Preservation Order in the buidl design.  The conservatory was built on a steel frame to preserve the roots that normal footing build will disturb

The interior decor is complimented with a colour theme of Gold, Green, Cream, Tan and Brown.  New furniture was purchased including new style beds, curtains and bedding.  The head boards, integrated wardrobe and desk facilities were hand built and fitted by a traditional and local joiner/carpenter.

We have further plans to enhance the Guest House by doubling the size of the dining room with a full length conservatory and provide more seating area inside and outside.

Today we have a dedicated and long term team of people to manage the Guest |House.  Providing service to our guests to ensure they have a warm, relaxing and pleasant stay at Grove Guest House.
