The Grove Guest House is a privately run provider of 4 star quality Guest Accomodation. We aim to provide a relaxed, comfortable and friendly atmosphere with loyal and friendly staff. We aim to please and will ensure enquiries and requests are dealt with efficiently and all guests are made to feel welcome throughout their stay. Grove Guest House is located on the corner of Chester Road and Penymaes Avenue in a prestigious and well-established, low-density residential area. Chester Road is a busy main road but the entrance to the Guest House is on Penymaes, which is a quieter tree lined very residential avenue and situated only 5 minute walk from Wrexham Town Centre. Car Parking The car park has a wide vehicular access and a large parking area that can accommodate most non-commercial vehicles. Our Car Park and external areas have been recently enlarged and re-surfaced with small lime stone chippings to create improved drainage and increase the number of parking places. Car parking is designated for approximately 16 cars in close proximity to the Hotel entrances. Buildings We have two buildings, Grove and Grosvenor. Grove, a dormer bungalow, is the larger , and and has ground floor and 1st floor guest rooms. Grosvenor is a smaller, brick built detached house and provides the main dining area for our breakfast guests. All doors are of standard size except for the entrance door to Grove, which is wider and has a small step to negotiate. Access to the Reception and the Dining Room is via the front door of Grosvenor and then through a secondary door sited on the right at a 90-degree angle to the front door. Please note that there are no lift facilities to the first floor. Services Grove Guest House provides bedroom accommodation and a breakfast that is both hot and cold. The hot cooked English breakfast is served by a waitress and is freshly cooked to order and the cold buffet is self serve but assistance is always available. Accessible Rooms The majority of our rooms are brightly decorated in light creams and Gold, with high quality laminate flooring and two carpeted bedrooms. Note: Doors openings are standard widths and sizes. A number of our bed rooms are on the ground floor and offer Twin, Triple or Single accommodation. Should a ground floor room be required then please state this at the time of booking your reservations and all effort will be made to provide dependant on availability. All rooms have shower facilities with walk in shower area one room has a bath and shower fitted. Some en-suite rooms have a STEP (height 3-6 inches), up to the room and the shower tray has a small step into the shower area and they are fitted with shower screens. Our first floor guest rooms have velux windows with a push bar close action and velux blinds. Our Dining Room facility is on the ground floor of Grosvenor. Smoking Policy We believe in the health and safety of our guests and Grove Guest House is a NO smoking establishment and the buildings are wired for fire alarm assistance with audible bells and well-lit exit stairwells, corridors and fire exits. Facilities at Grove Guest House and surrounding area The Housekeeper and Managers are always available to assist whenever possible.
Public transport is within walking distance and bus stops are located a 100 yards away with routes bound for Chester with a 10-minute frequency. The bus station and the railway station are only a 10 and 15 minute walk away, respectively. Taxi services are in abundance and we can help with bookings if required. We have tried to be as accurate as possible and include as much detail as we can in this statement.
